As a Graduate Planner, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and in a diverse range of environments ensuring thatno two days are ever the same! Our Graduate Planner opportunities cover a variety of aspects of planning, from general practice planning, infrastructure planning and development planning. As a Graduate Planner you will collaborateclosely with an array of teams across the firm to ensure that our advice integrates professional planning expertise with a comprehensive understanding of regional and national trends, as well as local market sensitivities. in addition,you will be allocated mentor and doctor from our experienced team of Chartered Planners to help guide you through the process to submission of your APC to become Chartered Planner with RTPI. Your role will focus on delivering bespoke services, ensuring that every client receives a tailored plan that combines expert advice with robust and imaginative strategies designed to achieve their specific objectives. You will support team members in preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications, including drafting reports for various projects across sectors such as, commercial, residential and utilities and infrastructure. Building strong working relationships and managing projects with other professionals, such as architects, designers, highways engineers, drainage experts, and ecology consultants, will be crucial to your success as a planner and in achieving both your objectives and those of your clients. Attention for detail and innovation as well as communication and collaboration skills are key to a role as a Graduate Planner. You will have the opportunity to shape and influence changing urban and rural environments whilst also contributing towards the resilience and environmental sustainability of development.
Our planning teams are located in three key offices/regions:
- Worcester and Birmingham
- Chester and Liverpool
