The Team & Focus of the Role
Our South East Property Management team are looking for a Facilities Manager who can pro-actively manage a varied portfolio and client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a large property portfolio for a mixture of commercial and private clients. This position includes all day-to-day facilities management as well as running a mixture of service charge regimes, dealing with buildings insurance, major works, contractor management and general daily lease correspondence. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team with a high level of autonomy supported by other property managers, administrators, and the wider commercial property management team. If you’re passionate about client service and enjoy getting fully involved in all aspects of managing a commercial property portfolio then this could be an opportunity for you. This would be a full-time role Monday-Friday (37.5 hours) and we have a hybrid working policy in place.

Duties will include:
- Management of the facilities of multi occupied commercial property – industrial, office, retail, leisure.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, on-site staff and the commercial property management team.
- Assisting with the preparation of Service Charge Budgets, service charge reconciliations and the running of service charge regimes throughout the year.
- Day to day liaison with Property Managers, Asset Managers & Tenants
- Ensuring compliance with legislation including Health and Safety and other regulations
The successful candidate will have...
- Experience within managing the facilities of a multi-site commercial portfolio
- Good property market and wider economic and business knowledge
- IT literate/proficient in use of Microsoft Office 365, Word and Excel
- Extensive experience within the commercial property market and commercial property management.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently manage large workloads
- Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
- Team leadership skills
- Driving license essential
