The Fisher Group are actively recruiting for an experienced Estimator for one of the region's leading Construction & Refurbishment Contractors.
This is a full-time role for an Estimator located in Portsmouth. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating and preparing cost estimates for construction projects, analysing project requirements, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, preparing tender documents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also includes coordinating with project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates.
Requirements:
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting skills
- Experience in preparing tender documents and analyzing project requirements
- Proficiency in liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools
- Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
