The Role
Are you an experienced
Estimator
looking for your next opportunity with a growing construction business?
Youll join a successful contractor delivering
construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects
across the South East, with a strong track record in the education sector.
Youll take ownership of tenders from
initial review through to submission , working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to produce accurate and competitive bids.
What youll be doing
Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender submissions.
Review drawings, specifications and tender documents.
Obtain and assess
subcontractor and supplier quotations .
Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering options.
Work with the wider team to ensure a smooth
handover from tender to delivery .

Youll be joining an established and growing construction and refurbishment business with a strong presence across the South East.
The business specialises in
education, refurbishment, fit-out and live environments , alongside commercial and new-build projects. Its education work includes school refurbishment, fire safety and compliance projects, often delivered while buildings remain operational.

What Youll Need Previous experience as an
Estimator within construction, refurbishment or fit-out .
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and sequencing.
Ability to interpret
drawings, specifications and tender information .
Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Desirable
Experience in
education, commercial refurbishment or fit-out .
Experience working in
live environments .
Good knowledge of Excel and estimating software.

Additional Information
This is a
South East-based role , with projects delivered across the region. There are
no overseas travel requirements . Working hours will be aligned with the requirements of the estimating and tendering function.
