The Maltings is a brand new 59-bed care home in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as we prepare to welcome our first residents. Fisher Care Group has been providing kind, compassionate, and safe care since 1986, and we are excited to extend our family to this beautiful new home.

About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at The Maltings. This role is pivotal in enhancing the daily lives of our residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a warm, homely environment.
Responsibilities
- Help residents with everyday personal care routines - such as getting washed and dressed, using the bathroom, and mealtimes - ensuring they feel comfortable and respected.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, creating a warm and caring atmosphere.
- Support residents to maintain their independence and dignity at all times.
- Help residents with mobility, including the use of mobility aids where required.
- Participate in social activities and engage residents in meaningful interactions.
- Record and report any changes in residents' condition to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate care records in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure residents' rooms and communal areas are kept clean and welcoming.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for caring and making a positive difference to people's lives.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, empathetic nature.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, patient, and respectful of residents' dignity and privacy.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
