Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Engineering and Construction, is hiring a Survey Party Chief for our Stafford, VA Professional Services Group (PSG). The Survey Party Chief will be responsible for conducting surveys; performing survey duties; supervising the survey crew, and performing related work as required.
Responsibilities- Use GPS equipment to set control, perform property corner searches, topographic surveys and stake easements and rights-of-way.
- Occasional use of Total Station for the above tasks.
- Schedule maintenance of company assigned vehicle.
- Communicate with staff on a daily basis.
- Prepare time sheets on a daily/weekly basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Able to operate and train others in the use of survey equipment including conventional and electronic instruments and computers (hardware and software).
- Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Although not likely, overnight travel may be required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus.
Starting pay rate for this position is $28 - $34 / hour depending upon experience. Team Fishel offers excellent industry training and a career development path for our Teammates. Competitive pay and benefits, including health insurance, 401k, and a company profit sharing plan!
