Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a CAD Technician for our Professional Services Group\’s Stafford, VA office.
The CAD Technician will be responsible for working closely with Engineering, Right-of-Way, Land Survey, and Permitting teams to produce high quality utility construction plans. You will work on exciting projects for high-profile companies. This is an entry level position and a great way to further your AutoCAD skills and gain experience in utility design from industry experts.
Responsibilities
- Assist designers in creating utility construction plans
- Assist designers in creating permit drawings and erosion and sediment control plans
- Learn utility design and construction concepts
- Revise plans as directed by lead designers
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
- Willingness to learn utility design concepts
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Experience with telecommunications and/or utility design or construction a plus
Starting pay of $23 – 26 / hour dependent upon experience.
