We believe in creating a supportive and rewarding workplace where talent can thrive, and where going the extra mile for our customers comes naturally. Many of our team have built long and successful careers with us - and now we’re looking for the next person to join our journey.

Our Nissan dealership has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technician. Working in a dedicated team of seven, our Technicians provide a first‑class service to all customers of the dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repair and diagnostics of a range of Nissan vehicles ensuring that work undertaken is of the highest quality.

Always a market leader, Nissan is offering an increasing range of EV and Hybrid vehicles. As Fish Brothers Nissan is one of only two dedicated Nissan EV battery repairers in the UK, our Technicians also have the opportunity to broaden their skill sets whilst working on these vehicles. Customer satisfaction is one of our key metrics and therefore, our Technicians are a key part of the dealership team driving our high customer satisfaction scores.

You will need to be an experienced Technician / Mechanic who is ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair or equivalent (candidates who are qualified to Level 2 with significant experience are also welcomed). Main dealership experience would be advantageous, however we also welcome applications from those who have worked at reputable independent garages, fast fit centres or car supermarkets.

In return we offer a competitive salary of between £30,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience), bonus scheme, 23 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays (rising to 27 days with length of service), contributory pension scheme, staff discount on products and services, cycle to work scheme, employee and customer referral schemes, employee car purchase scheme, Healthcare Cash Plan and life assurance (last 3 subject to a qualifying period). You will also be provided with additional training to enhance your skills both at a site level and via manufacturer specific requirements.

This post is offered on a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday basis. Saturday mornings are worked on a rota and are payable as overtime.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: At Fish Brothers, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the customers we serve and the community we’re part of. We believe that everyone, regardless of background, identity, or experience, should feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates, and we encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds to apply - including, but not limited to, women, people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and veterans. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know - we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
