Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who will be based at our purpose‑built VW Group Service Centre on Hawksworth Industrial Estate.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for our service customers, ensuring that customers are called in advance of their visit to confirm attendance.
- Take customers through all the necessary paperwork on arrival, explaining technical terms clearly.
- Set expectations with the customer and keep them updated throughout the repair of their vehicle.
- When the work is complete, take payment and sell any additional products that may benefit the customer, including retention products.
Qualifications
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Effective time‑management and organisational skills to ensure bookings and servicing are carried out efficiently.
- Desire to take control of earning potential with the ability to sell additional products and services to customers.
- Previous experience in an automotive customer‑service role is essential.
- Valid driving licence with no more than seven points to be appointed into this position.
Work Schedule Details
This is a full‑time (8am to 5pm) Monday to Friday role with Saturday mornings worked on a 1 in 3 rota basis and paid as overtime.
