At Fish Brothers, we’ve been helping the people of Swindon with their motoring needs for more than 75 years. As a multi‑franchise dealer group, we’re proud of our strong reputation, but it’s our people who make the real difference. We believe in creating a supportive and rewarding workplace where talent can thrive, and where going the extra mile for our customers comes naturally.

Lexus Swindon is one of the fastest growing Lexus Centres in the UK, dedicated to providing our customers with the highest level of service and always exceeding expectations. Due to an exciting expansion, the Lexus Centre has a rare opportunity for an experienced Technician to join a team that is passionate about the services and support offered to customers.

As a Lexus Technician, the successful candidate will be able to thrive in an exciting environment, working for the largest automotive manufacturer in the world, where the role of Technician is vital to the Centre’s success. Working in a dedicated aftersales team of 10, our Technicians provide a first‑class service to all customers of this prestigious dealership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repair and diagnostics of a range of Lexus vehicles ensuring that work undertaken is of the highest quality. They will liaise with customers directly regarding their vehicles, provide support and guidance to less experienced members of the team, carry out jobs within the budgeted time and take responsibility for daily maintenance of tools and equipment.

You will need to be an experienced Technician who is qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair or equivalent. Main dealership experience would be advantageous, however we also welcome applications from those who have worked at reputable independent garages, fast‑fit centres or car supermarkets.

You will need to be comfortable working with others, able to contribute to team cohesion and easily build relationships utilising empathy and self‑confidence. You will be committed to creating a bespoke and excellent customer experience taking ownership of each issue through to resolution. You will also enjoy generating innovative solutions to problems with a willingness to adopt new ideas rather than just relying on established approaches.

Benefits include 23‑27 days holiday, birthday leave, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, life assurance, contributory pension scheme, competitive bonus scheme, healthcare cash plan, staff car purchase scheme. You will also be provided with additional training to enhance your skills both at a site level and via manufacturer‑specific requirements. This post is offered on a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday basis.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: At Fish Brothers, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the customers we serve and the community we’re part of. We believe that everyone, regardless of background, identity, or experience, should feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates, and we encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds to apply including, but not limited to, women, people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and veterans. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
