The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are seeking 2 family law solicitors (supervisor and non-supervisor) to join our collaborative team and demonstrate their expertise in managing sensitive and complex cases.
Essential Skill and Qualifications
- Qualifications: Position 1 - Qualified solicitor
- Position 2 - Qualified solicitor with relevant accreditation/qualification for supervising
- Prior experience working in legal aid (CCMS)
- Detailed, organised, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Team player that is willing to help other team members
- Confident in using IT and different software
- Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
The Role
- Provide high-quality client care to vulnerable individuals and families.
- Manage a caseload of family law matters: non-molestation orders, Child Arrangements Orders, divorce, and private children law cases from inception to completion.
- Prepare legal documents: court applications, witness statements, bundles, and briefs for counsel.
- Efficiently manage files using our case management system, Leap.
- Participate in client conferences & counsel collaborations.
- Advise clients in relation to their legal issues and progress cases with courts and professionals.
- Navigate legal aid applications via CCMS and ensure compliance.
- Meet or exceed monthly billing targets and contribute to the firm’s financial objectives.
- Supervisor - prior experience of managing a team of paralegals and admin team.
