About your role: Fiserv is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the UK team, based onsite in Basildon. - Create and manage high level and project plans identifying critical path and key dependencies.
- Track progress, costs, resources and work assignments, producing clear status updates on schedule, budget, benefits, risks, issues and scope.
- Lead governance meetings, status reviews and quality reviews, ensuring decisions, escalations and corrective actions are managed effectively.
- Key contact point for the client – help with client’s plan, identify risks and dependencies and find ways of mitigating them.
- Guide the client with best practices; provide consultancy with key project phases.
- Manage day-to-day client activities and escalations.
- Think out of the box where delivery may have to be quicker minimizing the risk/impact to quality.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- A proven track record of delivering highly complex projects in a geographically dispersed business, ideally with experience in rollout management.
- A practical understanding of financial and commercial fundamentals, with a focus on improving profitability, reducing waste and minimising expense within the role’s remit.
- Technical competency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Jira is advantageous.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM or AgilePM.
- Experience in technology and the payments industry.
- Knowledge of payments, such as acquiring, cards, credit, debit, POS, SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, ISO and SEPA.
- Experience working with external clients, partners, vendors or third-party suppliers.
