About your role: As a Solution Train Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our agile delivery engine—driving coordination across multiple domains, ensuring dependencies are addressed, and enabling smooth, timely releases. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions at scale. You’ll be the POC that connects development, QA, DevOps, and product teams—ensuring alignment, transparency, and readiness from planning through production.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of a large complex solution involving multiple ARTs, domains, and teams.
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes that meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Drive collaboration across various ARTs, Technology Domains, and Teams, by aligning Planning Interval (PI) goals, managing inter-team dependencies, and tracking milestone progress.
  • Proactively address and resolve conflicts among ARTs, Domains, and Teams, and escalate risks when necessary.
  • Maintain visibility through a centralized program board or Jira dashboards, and a comprehensive dependency map.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and escalate issues to maintain delivery momentum and meet commitments.
  • Drive alignment across Project Management, Development, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure delivery timelines are met and testing efforts are coordinated effectively.
  • Proactively identify, monitor, and resolve cross-team dependencies.
  • Escalate critical blockers and facilitate timely resolutions to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Oversee code/configuration readiness and ensure all solution components adhere to quality standards and are delivered according to schedule.
  • Production readiness validation activities, including smoke test execution and readiness assessments to guarantee smooth and reliable production deployments.
  • Reporting & communication - deliver consistent and transparent updates to stakeholders, including risk evaluations and key testing metrics.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Release management process including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in a scaled agile environment (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) or in large enterprise delivery models.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, and observability/monitoring platforms.
  • Familiarity with production readiness checklists and Live proving processes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of strong delivery experience.
  • Be fluent in Italian & English.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • SAFe certification.
  • Exposure to scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) or large enterprise delivery models.
  • Knowledge of Release process, service-level objectives (SLOs), observability, and incident response workflows.
  • Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Release Train Engineering.
