Our mission is to redefine how institutional FX operations are managed, from trade execution to reconciliation and reporting.
We are seeking a Platform Developer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will build and enhance our trading platform using Python, SQL, and Kafka; design real-time data pipelines; and develop integrations that power mission-critical financial operations. If you enjoy solving complex problems, owning solutions end-to-end, and building systems that directly move money and markets, this role is for you.
Role Mission
- Design and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient platform features.
- Develop real-time data pipelines and streaming integrations.
- Support Salesforce development to automate business and compliance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Development (Primary Focus)
- Design, build, and optimize trading platform components using Python.
- Develop event-driven data pipelines using Kafka or similar streaming tools.
- Write and optimize complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Model and maintain data structures for trading, risk, settlement, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to deliver functionality.
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and security across all platform layers.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation and release pipelines.
Salesforce Development (Secondary Focus)
- Build and maintain features in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.
- Automate workflows across Sales, Compliance, Operations, and Finance.
- Develop and maintain API integrations between Salesforce and the core platform.
- Manage user access controls, data integrity, and configuration.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong Python development experience.
- Advanced SQL Server skills (data modelling, query optimization, stored procedures).
- Experience with event streaming or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- REST API design and implementation.
- Understanding of data security, access control, and financial systems.
- Commercial Salesforce development experience (Apex, SOQL, Flows).
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Kafka Streams or other stream-processing frameworks.
- Power BI dashboarding and reporting.
- Microservices or distributed architecture experience.
- CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
