About The Team
Virtus from FIS is a leading provider of alternative investment services and technology solutions, specializing in delivering comprehensive front, middle, and back-office services to asset managers, banks, and other institutional investors. Virtus helps its clients manage their alternative investment portfolios, including CLO/CDOs, private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative assets.
What You Will Be Doing
- The Middle Office Team maintains the books and records for collateral managers that have outsourced middle office operations.
- As the primary point of contact, the Trust Account Manager administers collateral/syndicated loan portfolios, including cash flows, reconciliations, trade settlements, waterfall payments, reporting, and compliance testing.
- Oversee daily transaction & reporting activity of assigned outsourcing relationships.
- Support personnel at client institutions in day-to-day routines and financial processing.
- Solve complex problems through research and/or communications with clients, liaisons, and internal teams.
- Guarantee quality service levels, perform daily servicing activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Typically, at least 4 years of financial services industry experience in managing institutional assets, and one or more years of leadership responsibility.
- Knowledge/experience with structured finance, preferably CLO/CDOs, syndicated loans, or corporate trust securities, as well as trust systems.
- Understanding and direct work experience with cash reconciliations, waterfall calculations, compliance testing, financial transaction processing, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, colleagues, and clients (internal & external).
