Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven

Sales Manager to lead our European Get Paid sales team.

This role is responsible for driving sales growth across Europe for Get Paid, a leading Order-to-Cash (O2C), Credit & Collections, and Accounts Receivable solution.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished people leader with a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams and delivering consistent revenue growth.

They will possess deep expertise in the Order-to-Cash landscape, understand the complexities of European finance operations, and have experience selling enterprise software solutions to CFO, Finance, Shared Services, Credit, and Treasury stakeholders.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong coaching capabilities, sales execution excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to operate in a complex, multi-country environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Account Executives and Sales professionals across Europe.
  • Create a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, pipeline reviews, deal strategy workshops, and performance management activities.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent to support business growth objectives.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics aligned to regional revenue targets.
  • Revenue Growth & Business Development
  • Deliver against regional bookings, revenue, and pipeline objectives.
  • Develop and execute territory strategies to drive market penetration and growth across key European markets.
  • Support the team in managing complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
  • Drive predictable pipeline generation through effective forecasting and opportunity management.
  • Lead strategic account planning and executive customer engagement activities.
  • Order-to-Cash Market Expertise
  • Act as a subject matter expert within the Order-to-Cash ecosystem, including:
  • Credit Management
  • Collections Management
  • Accounts Receivable Automation
  • Cash Application
  • Dispute Management
  • Customer Risk Management
  • Working Capital Optimisation
  • Understand regional regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements impacting finance functions across Europe.
  • Position Get Paid solutions effectively against competing O2C and Accounts Receivable platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with senior finance decision-makers including:
  • CFOs
  • Finance Directors
  • Shared Services Leaders
  • Credit Directors
  • Accounts Receivable Leaders
  • Treasury Executives
  • Partner with Marketing, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to drive customer outcomes.
  • Engage with executive stakeholders internally and externally to support strategic sales opportunities.
  • Forecasting & Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting through CRM systems.
  • Provide regular business updates and performance insights to regional leadership.
  • Monitor key sales metrics and implement actions to improve conversion rates, sales productivity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to company sales methodologies and governance processes.
  • Required Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in enterprise software sales.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience managing and leading successful sales teams.
  • Demonstrable experience selling Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, Collections, Treasury, Working Capital, or Financial Management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of European finance operations and shared service environments.
  • Proven success selling to CFO, Finance, Treasury, Credit, or Shared Services organisations.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-country sales opportunities across Europe.
  • Track record of consistently exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Experience leading strategic enterprise deals with values ranging from six to seven figures.
  • Strong sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM discipline.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred
  • Previous experience with Get Paid or comparable solutions.
