About the Role
The Senior Client Success Manager (Asset Finance – Europe) serves as the primary client-facing lead for FIS’s strategic Asset Finance and Equipment Finance clients across European markets. This role acts as a trusted strategic partner to clients and a bridge between internal FIS teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that clients derive measurable value from FIS asset finance solutions throughout the client lifecycle. You will be responsible for driving client satisfaction, solution adoption, retention, and expansion within a portfolio of complex, high-value European asset finance accounts. This role requires strong knowledge of asset finance business models, regional regulatory considerations, and the ability to align FIS solutions to clients’ operational and growth objectives.
About the Team
The Client Success Manager is part of the broader Client Success organisation, responsible for orchestrating the post-sales experience for FIS clients. Within Asset Finance, the team partners closely with Sales, Professional Services, Product, Technology, and Support to ensure clients successfully implement, adopt, and optimise FIS solutions. The team’s priorities include:
- Maximising value realisation and ROI from FIS asset finance platforms
- Supporting client retention and renewal outcomes
- Identifying expansion and upsell opportunities aligned to client strategy
- Acting as a strong client advocate within FIS
What You Will Be Doing
- Client Leadership & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned European Asset Finance clients, building trusted, long‑term relationships with senior client stakeholders. Act as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their asset finance portfolios, operating models, and regional market challenges.
- Strategic Client Planning: Own and maintain Client Success Plans aligned to client business goals, regulatory environment, and regional priorities. Proactively manage retention risk and identify growth and expansion opportunities within existing client relationships.
- Value Realisation & Product Adoption: Ensure clients achieve measurable business outcomes and ROI from FIS asset finance solutions. Drive adoption of platform capabilities supporting areas such as contract management, servicing, accounting, risk, and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate across internal FIS teams (Sales, Renewals, Product, Technology, Support, Professional Services) to ensure a seamless and consistent client experience. Represent a unified FIS position during all client engagements and escalations.
- Client Engagement & Governance: Lead regular client touchpoints including operational check‑ins, service reviews, and strategic planning sessions. Partner with clients on discussions related to platform optimisation, regulatory change, transformation initiatives, and future roadmap alignment.
- Commercial & Contractual Management: Collaborate closely with Sales and Renewals teams to support renewal strategies, pricing discussions, and expansion opportunities. Maintain strong understanding of contractual obligations, SLAs, resourcing models, and commercial commitments.
- Account Performance & Health: Maintain visibility of account financial performance, including revenue, renewals, credits, and SLA performance. Monitor overall client health, proactively identifying risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Client Advocacy & Escalation Management: Act as the voice of the client internally, ensuring feedback influences product and service improvements. Manage and coordinate resolution of complex client escalations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within FIS systems to support leadership visibility and decision‑making.
What You Will Need
- Deep understanding of the full asset finance lifecycle, including credit application, underwriting, funding, servicing, collections, recoveries, remarketing, and end‑of‑term processes across indirect, direct, and lease portfolios.
- Knowledge of key operational and regulatory requirements specific to asset‑backed lending and auto finance (e.g., title management, UCC filings, dealer management, Fair Lending standards, repossession & remarketing compliance, loss‑mitigation practices).
- Familiarity with asset finance technology ecosystems, including loan origination systems (LOS), contract management/servicing platforms, payment processing workflows, dealer portals, and integration points across credit bureaus, DMV/title systems, and third‑party data providers.
- Proven experience in Client Success, Account Management, or Client Service within financial services or fintech.
- Experience working with European financial services clients, including awareness of regional regulatory and market considerations.
- Ability to articulate business and technical value to a wide range of stakeholders, from operational users to executive sponsors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in complex client‑facing situations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
