About The Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst with experience in Python, SQL, and Linux. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Trade Life Cycle and have good knowledge and experience in QA and testing. The PTP Platform is a cloud-based Securities Processing solution for global financial institutions.
About The Team
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you’ll be part of our PTP Platform development group, working in scrum teams responsible for key system functionalities. You will become involved with all phases of the QA lifecycle and take ownership of key QA functional areas.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Assurance Analyst , you will be involved in~
- Boost QA coverage, following testing standards, and serving as the QA advocate
- Collaborate with your team and help QA and test Jira tickets
- Expand QA Automation frameworks and features to increase Test Coverage
- Perform test analysis, design, execution, defect management and stakeholder engagement
- Work with Senior QA Engineers and the QA Manager to implement wider QA and Testing initiatives
What You Will Need
- Hands-on experience in Automation Frameworks using Python,
- Proficiency in SQL, including creating complex queries
- Good hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux commands and scripting skills
- Relevant degree in a numeric discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Test Case management (e.g. Zephyr / X-ray), Jira and confluence (or similar) experience
- Excellent written and spoken English
Added Bonus If You Have
- Docker / Kubernetes experience
- Non-functional testing experience (performance, security scans etc)
- Experience of financial markets and the trade lifecycle
- API and GUI automation experience
