About the team
The Managed Service team is a group of dynamic, knowledgeable, and collaborative individuals who use their business and technology understanding to provide day-to-day solutions and support for multiple key systems within the FIS Capital Markets world.
This team of IT professionals oversees the designing, testing, and implementing of very complex functionalities within their respective systems by leveraging all the expertise in FIS's cutting-edge technology and day-to-day financial concepts.
What you will be doing?
This position is created to build up FIS Service delivery Run tech team middle office resource for hosted clients .
The majority of hosted clients all have business with EMEA markets.
This position requires collaboration with top investment banks and brokers to design technical and functional solutions, support products, facilitate communication for client changes, engage professional services solutions, provide presentations around solutions, relay support estimations, and respond to RFI's and RFP's around the services provided, while working to support the clients use of a software solution.
What you bring
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, intuitive skills with ability to work efficiently in both independent and teamwork environments.
- Overall, 3 years' experience with at least 1-2 year experience in Banking. Experience working in Finance, Capital Market, or Fin Tech.
- Hands on experience in UNIX, Shell scripting, Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Excellent communicator, fluent in French, English, and ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion .
- Familiarized with IT Service management processes .
- Versed in software development processes
- Understand, and resolve tickets that arise for the application.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools.
- Ability to translate client requirements to technical specifications and communicate to technical staff.
- Proven track record of successfully supporting and managing software products in a Saa S platform
- Ability to manage E2E Incident life cycle and work with both internal/external stakeholders to remediate production issues.
- Collaborate with relevant teams (e. g. DEV, PS, BA, CIO) to identify and implement solutions to boost production stability.
- Participate on ongoing production stability enhancement projects and drive Production changes when needed.
- Proactive and details-oriented track record of authoring high-quality documentation.
- Organized approach, manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
- Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
- Engineering degree in computer science/ related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
