Responsibilities
- Devise E2E test strategy for clients in collaboration with development and test automation teams.
- Participate in client Go/No-Go decisions and evaluate project risk, ensuring risks are communicated to stakeholders with mitigation strategies.
- Act as the final alignment step between business stakeholders, the client, and FIS implementation teams on quality and scope of implementations.
- Create test strategy from requirements, contract information, client implementation plan, and timeline.
- Define test plans for each phase of testing during the implementation.
- Ensure proper creation of manual E2E test cases based on requirements and use cases by aligning with contributing consultants and clients.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), performance testing, and security testing.
- Ensure availability and readiness of business testers for all E2E test cases with client plan, monitor and manage execution.
- Manage stakeholder engagement to involve business in test preparation and execution and provide executive-level reporting.
- Coordinate with the test automation team to facilitate candidate test cases and oversee the build-out of an automation portfolio as a value add for clients.
- Coordinate defect-management cycles with the implementation team, development, and clients.
- Provide appropriate reporting to project managers.
- Perform special projects/initiatives upon request.
- Identify and implement best practices and suggest improvements.
- Communicate recommendations to business-line and product-line leaders.
- Transport responsibility for E2E testing and coordinate with the FIS implementation team in Agile project management.
- Exposure to AI tools to improve testing methodologies.
- Travel: 10–15%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience as an End-to-End Test Management Consultant.
- Deep E2E process understanding, with knowledge of both process view and application view and what needs to be tested.
- Basic understanding of financial product testing cycles and processes in complex implementation cycles.
- Exceptionally good understanding of various testing phases during implementation.
- Experience with JIRA and other defect-management tools.
- Experience with functional and performance testing tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially sophisticated Excel skills.
- Demonstrable experience in test management for medium to large-scale implementations.
- Ability to work under general supervision while exercising independent judgment with broad business implications.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong written and concise communication skills, especially with senior management and other leaders.
- Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
