About the team FIS is the world\βs largest provider dedicated to banking and payments technologies. You will join an existing team of Fraud Support Associates based in Birmingham. Our team is fast-paced, friendly, diverse, and committed to providing the best solutions to clients and customers. What you will be doing The role\βs primary focus will be to identify and minimize fraud losses for clients using debit, prepaid, and credit cards. As you develop, you may also monitor referrals related to Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Due Diligence screening. Key Accountabilities: Monitor and investigate potentially fraudulent transactions efficiently and promptly. Support team responsibilities by adhering to department standards and principles. Follow client-defined processes for alert review, customer contact, and account blocking strategies. Review application fraud, AML alerts, and referrals, investigating and escalating concerns as needed. Analyze application information alongside other data sources for anomalies. Monitor alerts and workloads across multiple systems to reduce transactional fraud losses. What you bring: Enthusiasm to develop and realize the department\βs vision for effective financial crime solutions. Ability to focus and work efficiently to complete workloads. Experience in a Financial Crime team, customer service unit in banking, or related sector. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Open to entry-level applicants. Added bonus if you have: Knowledge of chargeback processes (advantageous but not essential). Understanding of industry best practices in fraud operations. Knowledge of fraud, AML, and compliance regulations (GDPR, PCI, FCA, etc.). What we offer you 35 hours/week, Monday to Sunday, with shifts between 8 am and 8 pm, including 3 weekends out of 8.
