FIS' Risk Business provides mission-critical software and services to institutions across many industry sectors globally. Our Insurance Risk solution is used by over 1,000 insurers and leading consulting firms, who rely on this solution to manage their risk, optimise their capital, and price their products. We provide support for customers on premise or using our cloud solution.
You would be responsible for customer engagement and relations for the Insurance Risk Suite Managed Cloud Service and be part of a large team with members located across the globe, focused on delivering leading solutions and customer excellence. There will likely be additional responsibilities determined through the implementation of the new Values Streams operating model.
What you will be doing
As a Director within the Risk Solutions Management and Strategy team, you will be responsible for understanding and meeting customer and industry needs. You will be responsible for the Insurance Risk Cloud solution, service catalogue definition, and managing any commercial aspects of the service. You will use your excellent customer relationship management skills to understand our customer's needs, establish credibility, and build positive professional relationships to drive customer success. To support this, you will have a detailed understanding of the needs of customers and be used to working with and managing large teams.
- Deep knowledge of the Insurance Risk Suite Managed Cloud roadmap and benefits to customers
- Accountable for managing a significant cloud business and achieving revenue and customer retention targets
- Attend regular customer relationship calls/meetings, on site where needed
- Responsible for ensuring alignment of service provided with customer needs and identifying and addressing service improvement opportunities
- Communication of new service offerings, pricing, and all cloud service development to sales teams
- Supporting sales organisation with complex cloud sales
- Internal and external presentations on cloud functionality, service, roadmap etc.
- Working closely with cloud vendors to drive value to our customers
- Providing Insurance/cloud thought leadership in the form of blogs, videos & conference presentations
- Owning legal contracts and all commercial aspects of the services
- Input into solution side in terms of cloud enhancements through discussions with customers and internal teams
What you bring
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate cloud-related technologies as well as a vision that inspires and motivates staff and delivers excellent customer experience
- Experience in cloud technologies and platforms, especially AWS and Azure
- Understanding of cloud cost optimisation strategies and ability to analyse and optimise cloud resource usage
- Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources required for success may not be in direct control of this role
- Innovative and creative, able to bring new thinking to the organisation and our partners
- Excellent communication skills and able to liaise with all levels of seniority up to and including board level
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and partners to drive cloud initiatives
- Ability to present information tailored to diverse audiences (e.g. technical, finance, executive)
- Degree background, preferably with a strong background in management
