About the role:

As a Summer Intern in Business Development, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the teams responsible for generating new business pipeline and driving outbound prospecting activity. You will work alongside Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Operations partners to learn how we build early-stage opportunities, identify strategic prospects, and support sales cycles across global markets. You will contribute to meaningful projects, take part in lead-generation efforts, learn how modern sales platforms support commercial strategy, and complete a capstone presentation to business development and sales leaders.

About the team:

You will join the FIS Business Development organization, a fast-paced, highly collaborative group that plays a critical role in fueling FIS' sales pipeline. The BDR team partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Sales Operations to execute persona-led campaigns, drive outbound contact strategies, and collect actionable insights for our sellers. The team leverages modern prospecting tools, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and CRM systems, and is committed to developing the next generation of sales talent.
