About the role:
As an IT Architect, you’ll help design the foundation for how our global fintech platforms perform and scale. Your expertise will influence selecting, operating and administering systems and software for our environment that supports vital business processes.

What you will be doing:
• Working with a mixture of technologies across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
• Maintaining a catalogue of reusable functional components relevant for applications and product lines
• Building and maintaining deployment pipelines for various FIS solutions based in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
• Using infrastructure-as-code to build automated deployment models for new customer deployments and upgrades
• Use PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate the configuration of new systems and applications
• Building tools and utilities for providing self-service capabilities to our stakeholders
• Determining root causes of issues and providing solutions to resolve the problems
• Being creative and innovative
What you will need:
Experience: Five or more years in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment, working with relational or hierarchical databases.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience. Post-graduate education is a plus.
Teamwork: Experience working as part of a large, diverse, global team.
Skills:
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently when needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative disposition.
Technical Knowledge:
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and technology, with established skills in AWS or Azure.
• Solid coding and scripting experience.
• Experience writing structured Terraform to automate cloud configuration.
• Working knowledge of containerization.
• Advanced experience using PowerShell.
• Strong exposure to Windows OS.
• Familiarity with command line tools.
• Practical experience using orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Harness, or Ansible.
Added Bonus If You Have:
• Experience with DevOps.
• Familiarity with continuous integration concepts.
• Knowledge of both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience with Linux.
