About the team

The Change Management & Leveraged Services team pulls together all shared functions used across the division. This includes Training & Certification as well as Recruitment and Contractor Management. As a team, our aim is to provide cost benefits and scale at pace.

What you will be doing

  • Working with your Training Manager to lead or support a suite of learning products and new launches, shaping learning strategy and project development for the Line of Business products.
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders and SMEs to stay updated and identify training impacts.
  • Collaboration with management on resourcing requirements and overseeing peers involved in multiple concurrent projects is key.

General Responsibilities

  • Conducts and analyses training needs assessments following conventional instructional design methodologies.
  • Collaborates with functional and technical personnel as part of the TNA.
  • Determines and documents appropriate instructional strategy and project scope based on a completed needs assessment.
  • Reviews and accurately interprets technical or relevant documentation as they pertain to course development.
  • Designs effective instructional materials, interactions, simulations and assessments to support the required instructional strategy.
  • Interacts with product managers, subject-matter experts, application development and others to determine scope of a project, accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Uses state of the art tools and technologies for development, maintenance, production and distribution training content, plus seeks, tests and champions new learning tools/technologies.
  • Follows best practices in technical development to ensure a consistent development process.
  • Designs and develops criterion-based training assessments.
  • Assesses feedback from learners to evaluate and improve effectiveness of training.
  • Markets training courses and services to the end user.

What you bring

  • Experience of leading launches and developing the training strategies to support.
  • Experience of managing training development projects/programmes.
  • Experience of managing a range of stakeholders, obtaining content from SMEs with a range of seniority and creating strong positive relationships.
  • Ability to design and deliver digital training content using a range of applications.
  • Ability to use video editing and script writing for digital learning solutions on a range of formats.
  • Work collaboratively to design creative, innovative and engaging learning resources.
  • Work collaboratively with your project leads and SMEs to ensure that learning solutions are innovative and meet the need.
  • Liaise with other internal e-learning specialists for best practice tips and approach.
  • Identify and manage signatories to obtain sign off at each stage of the learning cycle.
  • Manage content delivery and timelines ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Financial services experience.
  • Experience of leading design teams and shaping content with SMEs.
  • Presenting design strategy to management teams/snr stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience designing and script writing digital learning solutions.
  • A strong understanding and proven delivery of learning design principles.
  • Innovating and pushing creative boundaries.
  • Strong attention to detail to assess and provide feedback on others’ work.
  • Troubleshooting content issues and ensuring solutions are implemented.
  • Being up to date with current accessibility standards.
  • Being up to date with changes and innovation in Learning & Development industry.

  • Knowledge of implementation of certification programmes within a learning solution.
  • Previous experience of working with FIS.
  • Broad knowledge of using AI within learning design and delivery.
