Consultant Senior, Professional Services in City of London

About the role:

As a Senior Consultant in Professional Services, you will independently lead small to mid-sized Treasury and Banking software implementations and major functional workstreams. You will guide clients from scoping and solution design through configuration, testing, training, cutover, go-live and post-implementation support.

What you will be doing

• Execute FIS Professional Services contracts by delivering on-site and remote consultancy for Treasury and Banking implementations, upgrades and migration projects.
• Lead complete small to mid-sized FIS Quantum implementations independently, ensuring alignment with client goals, agreed scope, delivery assumptions and business objectives.
• Lead scoping workshops and prepare detailed scoping documents covering requirements, scope boundaries, assumptions, dependencies, risks, estimates and delivery approach.
• Define comprehensive end-to-end solutions connecting Treasury processes, Quantum and Expert modules, workflows, interfaces and client-specific requirements.
• Apply working knowledge of Quantum database structures, reporting tools and SQL to support implementation, reporting and troubleshooting activities.
• Own project-level functional deliverables and organize work across multiple projects, maintaining quality, priorities and timelines.
• Configure and oversee implementation across key Quantum modules, applying reusable standards and sound implementation practices.
• Support and lead system integration testing, user acceptance testing, parallel run, cutover, production deployment, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Perform demonstrations of Quantum and Expert modules and confidently address client questions across functional and technical topics.
• Investigate and resolve complex functional and configuration issues, working with Technical Consulting, Product, Development and Support where required.

What you bring

• 5+ years of relevant hands‑on experience aligned to senior consulting responsibilities.
• Proven implementation or consulting experience with Treasury Management Systems or related financial technology platforms, such as FIS Quantum, Murex, Calypso, Kondor+, Finastra or SAP Treasury.
• Advanced understanding of Treasury operations and the ability to discuss different Treasury topics credibly with client stakeholders.
• Strong client‑facing communication, facilitation, presentation, training and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage time independently, organize work across multiple projects and remain accountable for project‑level deliverables.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Preferred experience

• Implementation experience with FIS Quantum or another Treasury Management System such as Murex, Calypso, Kondor+, Finastra or SAP Treasury.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, interfaces, SWIFT or payment messaging.
• Knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX messages, market data, accounting processes, risk management and enterprise integrations.
• Relevant Treasury, Finance, technology, business analysis or project delivery qualifications.
