Firwood High School is a successful 11‑19 special school that meets the needs of young people with complex learning difficulties. It is part of the Woodbridge Trust, working closely with Ladywood Primary Special School, Woodbridge SEND Services and Woodbridge College Post 19 provision.

Due to rapid growth and increased student numbers, we are seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant Level 3 who is willing to ‘go the extra mile’ and is passionate about supporting students’ learning across a range of special educational needs. Applicants should be enthusiastic about developing their skills to work effectively with students with special educational needs and have a desire to deepen their knowledge and understanding in this field.

Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Grade F, Point 17 23, £23,333 – £25,899
Working Hours: 32.5 hrs per week, Term Time & 5 days (part‑time considered for the right candidate must be able to commit to weekly CPD until 4:30 pm on Wednesdays)
