The ideal candidate must have the following exposure:
- Manage cost to income to increase profitability and efficiencies for the business.
- Enhance business performance and profitability.
- Drive customer service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards and in support of operational objectives.
- Ensure growth and increase in customer base by managing existing clients, generating new leads, and growing active customer accounts.
- Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives.
- Drive the achievement of customer migration by recommending solutions and improving efficiencies.
- Set tactical goals and optimize the use of people, finances, and technologies to realize those goals.
- Define a sales strategy and delivery plans in support of the strategic business objectives.
- Assess and evaluate credit applications in accordance with the bank's credit policy and within set time frames.
- Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes.
- Compile reports that track progress and guide business decisions.
- Continuously assess own performance, seek feedback, and request training where appropriate.
- Manage people by executing line manager responsibilities and creating an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Have obtained 3-5 years of commercial banking experience in a similar role.
- Possess a FAIS accredited qualification (NQF level 6, 7, etc.).
- Have exposure to credit applications in a commercial environment.
- Hold a RE qualification.
- Have credit management exposure.
- Have experience dealing with high-level customer queries.
- Can structure deals effectively.
- Are capable of acquiring new clients.
- Can manage and maintain client relationships.
- Maintain an existing portfolio of clients.
- Are not an unrehabilitated insolvent.
