Tax Manager – Wellesley, MA (Hybrid/Remote Flex – New England-Based)

Our client, a well-established and growing CPA firm based in Wellesley, Massachusetts , is seeking a Tax Manager to join its high-performing team. This firm specializes in tax preparation and consulting for high-net-worth individuals , closely held businesses , entrepreneurs , and nonprofit organizations , with a strong emphasis on exceptional client service and long-term relationships.

  • During tax season (Feb–April), hours peak at 55–60 per week
  • Remote flexibility : Candidates based in New England may work mostly remotely, with occasional in-office presence (approx. once/month)

  • Provide tailored tax planning strategies to high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting; CPA required
  • 6+ years of experience in public accounting or a tax consulting firm
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  • Strong technical tax, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CCH ProSystem fx , QuickBooks , and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality client service
