The company was established in 2007 and has already become known as one of the leading surveying firms in London and the South East. Due to continued business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Building Surveyor to join our innovative firm of Chartered Surveyors.
Main Responsibilities:
- The role will involve carrying out residential secured lending valuations, homebuyer reports and building surveys, servicing our largest and longest standing clients which include some of the worlds most established banks and building societies.
- On a day to day basis the successful applicant will survey and value a wide spectrum of residential properties throughout London and the South East.
- Using iPad technology enables our surveyors to make the best use of their time.
- Our Residential Building Surveyors work closely with a range of clients and have close contact with lenders and Private Clients.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience and experience of carrying out Level 1, 2 and 3 residential surveys for private clients and/or lending institutions.
- Have used tablet technology for site note taking and be familiar with Quest software, GoReport, RightMove Surveyor Comparable tool and Building Cost Information Service (BCIS) reinstatement valuation.
- Ideally will have experience in Party Wall Awards and Project management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualified applicants who have experience in residential valuations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential, as is IT literacy and the ability to manage varying workloads to tight deadlines.
