As Internal Communication and Engagement Manager you will be expected to:

  • Designing and delivering our internal communication strategy
  • Managing our channels of communication ensuring all content is relevant and reflects our employer brand and voice
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and senior management to ensure key messages are communicated clearly

About You

Are you passionate about communication and engagement, and want to be responsible for delivering a strategy across an organisation? You are currently working in a similar role, and now want to lead on designing and implementing a communication and engagement strategy. Being passionate about relationship building and networking, you are able to create internal communications for stakeholders, and deliver in a way that is compelling and informative. Engaging colleagues is important to you and with your creative style you are able to implement new ways to interact with our colleagues and get feedback whilst maintaining tone of voice and direction of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ownership of engagement and internal communications strategy for your division
  • Supports line managers to deliver the strategy for engagement and communications
  • Co-ordinates all day-to-day activities for the department
  • Maintains the internal communications calendar
  • Supports the content of the intranet for their division to reflect the current employer voice and brand
  • Manages the communications email account and calendar of events
  • Working with projects to ensure a successful delivery of their communication plans
  • Supports the delivery of our people strategy

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in internal communications, either in a complex and fast-paced organisation
  • Experience working with marketing, HR and brand teams and building sound affinity with an employer brand
  • Strategic agility with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work at pace and to oversee outstanding execution of multiple projects
  • Proven ability to develop and execute communications strategies and plans across multiple channels and audiences
  • Experience of managing and delivering complex change communications
  • Demonstrable evidence of positively influencing employee engagement
  • A strong ability to positively challenge and influence at all levels of the business
  • Experienced in creative copywriting, presentation design and video production
  • Involvement in supporting digital transformation change programmes

  • Proficient familiarity with Microsoft Office365 tools including SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Forms, Stream, Teams and Yammer
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Premiere, Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign

Working arrangements

Full time position hybrid working arrangements. Regular travel to company offices and sites.
