Role Description


The Property Service Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in New Milton, responsible for supporting the effective management and upkeep of residential developments. Day-to-day activities include coordinating routine property inspections, responding to resident queries and service requests, and liaising with contractors to ensure maintenance tasks are completed to agreed standards and timescales. The role involves monitoring health and safety compliance on-site, reporting issues, and assisting in the implementation of corrective actions. The Property Service Specialist also supports administrative tasks such as updating property records, preparing service reports, and contributing to continuous improvements in resident experience and building standards.


Qualifications



  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and contractors.

  • Experience in property management, facilities management, or a related housing or estate services environment.

  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in residential properties, including basic risk awareness and adherence to compliance procedures.

  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines on-site.

  • Proficiency with basic IT tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, property management or CRM systems) for record-keeping and reporting.

  • Ability to work independently, use sound judgment in day-to-day decisions, and **escalate** issues appropriately.

  • Attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach to inspecting properties and overseeing maintenance work.

  • Relevant vocational or professional qualifications in property or facilities management are beneficial; prior experience in residential developments or retirement housing is an advantage.
