Your Role, Your Impact
As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy. This high-profile, strategic role involves identifying new opportunities, building trusted relationships, and delivering bespoke solutions to an evolving client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive sustainable business growth.
- Deliver the regional business development strategy, increasing FirstPort’s presence and market share.
- Build and manage a strong regional sales pipeline by proactively identifying new and expansion opportunities.
- Lead all aspects of tender activity, including the preparation and coordination of high-quality tender submissions across internal teams.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to strengthen the company’s regional market position.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to inform strategy and identify emerging opportunities.
- Represent the business at key industry events, networking forums and conferences.
- Work collaboratively with Operations and Account Management teams to deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Generate leads through a strong network of property industry contacts, including RMCs, RTMs and other resident-led management organisations.
- Deliver confident, tailored pitches and presentations aligned to client needs.
- Build long-term client relationships to support retention, repeat business and future growth.
- Work in partnership with the Regional Director to ensure alignment with wider business objectives.
- Support seamless client onboarding by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
- Achieve stretching sales targets and contribute to wider strategic growth initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Experience with marketing automation tools is desirable.
- Minimum of five years’ senior-level experience within residential property management.
- TPI Level 3 qualification or above (preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development and sales targets.
