About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior SEO Manager to take ownership of the day‑to‑day execution and ongoing improvement of our website and organic search performance.

This is an execution-focused role for an experienced SEO professional who enjoys getting things done, implementing improvements and delivering measurable results.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, developers and external agencies to improve technical SEO, optimise website content, manage publishing and identify opportunities to increase organic traffic and generate more enquiries.

You’ll also play a key role in improving local search visibility and adapting our approach to emerging AI‑driven search, ensuring our website remains competitive as search behaviour evolves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical SEO: Implement technical improvements across crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data, redirects and Core Web Vitals.
  • Website Management: Manage website updates, page builds, content publishing, landing pages and ongoing maintenance through the CMS.
  • Content Optimisation: Conduct keyword research, optimise existing pages and implement on‑page SEO improvements across titles, metadata, headings and internal links.
  • Local SEO & AI Search: Improve local search visibility and implement relevant Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) opportunities.
  • Website Performance: Monitor organic traffic, rankings, engagement and conversions, using data to identify and deliver practical improvements.
  • Reporting: Use Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and SEO tools to track performance, report on KPIs and recommend next steps.
  • Agency & Stakeholder Management: Work with developers, agencies, and internal teams to coordinate website changes, resolve issues and deliver agreed priorities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify technical issues, content gaps and optimisation opportunities, prioritising actions that deliver the greatest commercial impact.

About You

  • Proven experience in a hands‑on SEO role, with strong technical and content SEO knowledge.
  • Experience implementing SEO improvements and delivering measurable results.
  • Confident managing CMS platforms, website content and ongoing site maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of keyword research, on‑page optimisation, technical audits and local SEO.
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog.
  • Comfortable working with developers and agencies to implement technical changes and resolve issues.
  • Analytical, organised and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of how organic search drives enquiries, leads and business growth.
