Pax8 is hiring a Regional Business Partner (EMEA) for a 6‑month contract. The role is hybrid, with 3 days a week expected in our Bristol or Farnborough offices.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders across EMEA, helping them build effective teams and lead with confidence.
- Support a range of business lines, from AI innovation to sales, vendor support and finance, working across at least seven countries including the UK, Netherlands, Germany, and Latvia.
- Strategic partnering & coaching – building strong relationships with leaders and diagnosing needs quickly.
- Leadership support – coaching leaders through performance conversations, team dynamics and complex scenarios.
- Change leadership – supporting teams through organisational change and balancing compliance with practical realities.
- Workforce planning & talent conversations – shaping workforce strategy and supporting succession planning.
- People insights – using data and trends to inform decisions on retention, reward, wellbeing and hiring strategies.
- Employee relations & risk – guiding leaders through sensitive cases with integrity and a strong understanding of local requirements.

You will help shift the business from reactive support to proactive partnership, enabling leaders to lead better, plan smarter and develop talent more intentionally. The role will create clearer structure, stronger collaboration across People functions globally, and a people strategy that scales with the business.
What we’re looking for
- A modern, commercially‑aware People Business Partner who can operate with pace, credibility and warmth.
- Substantial experience in a strategic People Operations / HR Business Partnering role, ideally within a fast‑paced, scaling organisation.
- Desirable: knowledge of Dutch employment law and Dutch language skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, coach leaders and drive outcomes through trust‑based partnering.
- Confidence supporting new and developing managers, helping them build capability.
- Considerable experience in change management, workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and talent development.
- Strong grounding in employee relations and people risk, able to navigate complex issues with fairness and good judgement.
- Comfort using people data and insights to guide decisions and shape priorities.
- A collaborative mindset, building bridges across teams and sharing best practice across regions.
- A pragmatic, human and adaptable style, meeting stakeholders where they are.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (pro‑rated) depending on experience.
