About the Job: We are recruiting for a Talent Pool for Qualified Train Drivers, who are enthusiastic about delivering a different type of rail service, where rewards are first class, and where the fleet is being modernised. We are setting a new standard for rail, for our passengers and for our people, while focusing on creating a relaxing, fast, efficient, friendly travel experience.
About you: The role requires exceptional focus and attention to detail. Your ability to follow protocols and make critical decisions will be second to none. You will use your drive, commitment, passion for customer service and exemplary safety record to help over 100 million passengers travel between more than 275 stations, safely and on time, every year. This means that you will need to work a variety of shifts and must live within 60 minutes travel of the depot.
About the location: Our Central Region consists of the following depots: Bristol Parkway, Bristol Temple Meads, Fratton, Gloucester, Swansea and Westbury. You will be able to indicate the location you would like to apply for, when you create your application. If successful in your application, you will be progressed for your first location choice.
Additional Information: If you are successful at the depot interview, we will add you to our talent pool for the relevant depot and contact you should vacancies become available. Some depots will have vacancies available immediately. The Reward: Salary: £62,195 for the first 12 months, as a new entrant qualified driver, rising to £69,105.
