Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Talent Pool of Qualified Train Drivers who want to deliver a high-quality rail service across the GWR network.

Our Qualified Train Drivers play a crucial role in setting a new standard for rail, focused on creating a relaxed, fast, efficient, and fun experience for our passengers. They also provide technical and operational expertise within our teams, delivering the highest standard of service.

We pride ourselves on Safety and Customer Service and are looking for people with excellent Safety Critical records, who enjoy being part of a team.

About You

The role requires exceptional focus and attention to detail. Your ability to follow protocols and make critical decisions will be second to none. If you enjoy working with a team, have a passion for delivering great customer service, and your Safety Critical history is of a high standard, we would love to hear from you.

Additional Information:

The application process involves an online Situational Judgement exercise, a review of the RSSB B1 Transfer of Safety Critical Information history, and a selection interview to assess key role requirements.

  • Living within 60 minutes commuting distance of the depot, to ensure safety and punctuality for various shifts, including weekends and nights.
