We are recruiting for a Talent Pool of qualified Train Drivers who want to deliver a high-quality rail service across the GWR network.
Our Qualified Train Drivers play a crucial role in setting a new standard for rail, focused on creating a relaxed, fast, efficient, and enjoyable experience for passengers. They also provide technical and operational expertise within our teams, delivering the highest standards of service.
We pride ourselves on Safety and Customer Service and are looking for individuals with excellent Safety Critical records, who enjoy working as part of a team.
About You
The role requires exceptional focus and attention to detail. Your ability to follow protocols and make critical decisions will be second to none. If you enjoy teamwork, have a passion for excellent customer service, and maintain a high standard in your Safety Critical history, we would love to hear from you.

Safety and our Passengers are at the heart of everything we do at GWR. The application process includes an online Situational Judgement exercise, a review of the RSSB B1 Transfer of Safety Critical Information history, and a selection interview assessing key role requirements.
