You will have opportunities to participate in research projects, special interest groups, and be part of a wider speech and language therapy network that meets regularly for training and development. We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Yiewsley Grange School, West Drayton.

Location: Yiewsley Grange School, West Drayton UB7 7QP

Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (Welcome Bonus is payable as £2,500 after completion of one month and a further £2,500 upon completion of your final probation period).

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent (term-time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances)

We support your ongoing development with a £2,000 training allowance after probation to complete role-specific training tailored to your requirements. Responsibilities
  • Deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils within the school setting.
  • Hold a Speech and Language Therapy caseload with the support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead.
  • Collaborate with the education team to support pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, are neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs.
  • Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
  • Work within the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working to guide practice and responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Strong relationship-building, analytical and judgment skills.
  • Willingness to attend training and work towards further qualifications relevant to the client group.
  • Experience working with a network of clinical colleagues and engaging in peer reflection and practice development is valued.
