Key Responsibilities

  • Teach the Primary National Curriculum in engaging and accessible ways.
  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress and achievements.
  • Develop and implement individual education and behaviour plans.
  • Create a positive, well-organised classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants and care staff to support student learning.
  • Manage challenging behaviour and promote self-regulation.
  • Liaise with internal teams, families and external agencies to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards.
  • Contribute to school development initiatives and continuous improvement.

Location

The role will be split across two sites: Trent Acres (Kings Bromley) and Brookfield (Bridgtown).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience teaching students with additional or complex needs (preferred).
  • Specialism in Secondary English.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
