We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEMH and additional needs to engage positively in learning.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and personalised learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence.
- Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour development.
- Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom activities.
- Work collaboratively as part of a passionate multi-disciplinary team focused on achieving the best outcomes for every pupil.
Qualifications
- Holds GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
- Has experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children and young people (SEN experience desirable).
- Has an interest in supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional needs.
- Builds positive, trusting relationships with young people.
- Is patient, adaptable and resilient when faced with challenges.
- Embraces a therapeutic and nurturing approach to supporting learning and behaviour.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
