Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job

About the Role

Speech and Language Therapist (Bankside College, Worcestershire) – 15 hours per week, flexible on which two days are selected. Permanent contract with term‑time only. The role is situated within a multidisciplinary team in a specialist day school setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence and SEMH needs.
• Hold a therapeutic caseload and work collaboratively with the education team, respecting the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working.
• Contribute to staff training and consultation, and support the clinical development of apprentices, students and therapy assistants.
• Participate in research projects, special interest groups and broader therapeutic networks.
• Safeguard children and young people, maintaining a strong safeguarding culture and supporting decision‑making for pupils.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc (Hons) or equivalent).
• Full valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to attend professional training and pursue further qualifications relevant to the client group.
