We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Customer Sales Advisor, where you'll confidently and impartially sell a wide range of tickets and services while exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Sell tickets and services professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain ticket machines and complete accountancy tasks.
  • Assist customers with boarding and alighting trains when required, ensuring a safe and positive customer experience.
  • Assist customers with luggage when required, ensuring a safe and positive customer experience, including the safe deployment of ramps.
  • During periods of cold weather, grit station platforms and access areas in preparation for the first train service to help maintain a safe environment for customers and colleagues.

Working Hours

This full-time role requires shift work, including weekends and bank holidays. You'll be contracted to 35 hours per week, with a combination of early and late shifts between the hours of 04:45 – 20:20 (Mon – Sat), 07:50 – 16:40 (Sun). Due to the nature of the shifts work involved in these roles, applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

What to Expect

After submitting your application, should you be shortlisted you will be invited for a competency-based interview tentatively scheduled week commencing 13 July 2026. Full training will be provided, including a 2-week training programme in Swindon.
