Quest Apprenticeship Management Consultant – Level 4 Description Quest apprenticeships give learners the opportunity to gain new skills, knowledge and behaviours which can be put into practice in the workplace and are a great development opportunity. Study is alongside your current role and there is no change to terms and conditions. What does theapprenticeship involve? The Management Consultant apprenticeship offers a wide range of management themes which can be applied to both internal and external customers, including: Understanding industry sectors and how management can support different areas of the organisation Understanding approaches for effective people and team management Developing leadership and management knowledge skills Managing relationships with stakeholders Understanding key financial performance indicators Developing project management skills and how a project moves through its lifecycle Who is theapprenticeship suitable for? This apprenticeship suitable for colleagues who are involved in business improvement and in a position to influence change with GWR. You will need to be working towards and achieve the following job role requirements before End Point Assessment: Involvement in projects – from setting objectives through to implementation and evaluation Accessing analysis data and financial information relevant to consulting projects Taking the lead in team situations Presenting in and running meetings Creating reports What\’s in it for me? You\’ll achieve the Level 4 Junior Management Consultant apprenticeship whilst developing your ability to lead individuals and teams to success, learning techniques to assess current and future team capabilities,including the role of recruitment, selection and staff development. You\’ll understand your own organisation in the wider context and learn how you can help make valuable changes. OurDelivery Partner The 24-month programme will be delivered by Ofsted Outstanding Exeter College through a mix of online and some face-to-face sessions. This will provide continuous support and development for each learner and facilitate effective learner progress. You will be required to be released for studytwo days a month and you will have plannedeight weekly reviews with your Skills Officer to discuss progress and on programme support. You should also expect to undertake some study in your own time. You will be allocated a GWR mentor to support your learning journey. FunctionalSkills for maths and English are no longer mandatory, however can be undertaken with line manager agreement. Exeter College will continue to offer support where need with maths and English throughout the apprenticeship. Applicantswill be required to complete an application form and if short listed, a short on-line briefing session and interview with the college tutor.
