As a Stores Person, you'll help the Area Stores Manager run the depot stores smoothly. Your work will support the engineering team and help keep things running well for our customers. You'll deal with day-to-day problems in the stores and let your manager know about any important issues or concerns. If you have commercial vehicle parts advisory/stock management experience then we'd love to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

  • Support the Area Stores Manager to ensure optimum management of material and fuel stocks, and the accurate and timely processing of warranty claims.
  • You'll be responsible for ensuring that vehicle parts and fuel are available to meet the depot's operational needs.
  • You'll stay informed of any changes to the fleet and adjust stock levels accordingly. This includes following procedures for bulk fuel deliveries and accurately reconciling fuel stocks.
  • Ensure stores areas are kept clean and tidy, and stock is stored in a secure, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Support the Area Stores Manager to monitor and manage stock usage.
  • Maintain relevant business systems to accurately record all aspects of stock management.

Location: Norwich - Roundtree Way

Working Hours: 39 per week - Monday-Friday 06:00-14:00

Pay: £14.84 p/h £30,100 p/a

About you

  • Must be a UK resident and provide proof of Right to Work.
  • Commercial vehicle parts advisory/stock management experience would be beneficial.
  • A clean UK driving licence would be beneficial for this role as you may move stock between depots.
