We are pleased to be advertising for maternity cover for the Health & Safety Assistant role in our Safety Team. The maternity cover will be for up to 12 months and will be ideal for a candidate who has a passion for safety and who wishes to develop their career. You will report to the Health & Safety Manager.
You will provide comprehensive administration support to the Safety team, which will include:
- Taking accurate minutes within the monthly safety meetings.
- Liaising with the H&S Manager to ensure staff carrying out Safety Critical Work have been identified, trained, continually assessed, and recorded to the level of competency required, with files kept up to date.
- Ensuring that periodic reports on safety performance are completed, including providing summaries of any workplace incidents.
- Supporting the Health & Safety Manager in analysing trends against Safety Performance Indicators.
