Join Our Team as a Train Dispatcher and Ticket Seller! Are you customer-focused and looking for a dynamic role in the railway industry? As a Train Dispatcher and Ticket Seller, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth station operations, from train dispatch and ticket sales to providing real-time travel information and maintaining a safe, clean environment. This role involves regular lone working, offering autonomy and responsibility.

What We’re Looking For?

  • Ability to handle numerical tasks and documentation

Working Hours?

The working schedule consists of 35 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays. Shifts run from Monday to Saturday between 06:30 and 22:30 and on Sundays between 14:30 and 22:30. Due to the nature of the shifts work involved in these roles, applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

What to Expect?

  • After submitting your application, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment – Train Dispatch Multi-Tasking Test (recommended on a laptop/computer).
  • Successful candidates will be invited for a competency-based interview.
  • Successful applicants will need to pass a medical assessment, including a colour vision test and drug and alcohol screening, as well as a Basic DBS check.
  • Full training will be provided, including a 3-week training programme in Swindon.
