FirstFix Recruitment are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator / Commercial Manager on behalf of one of our established clients who are based in the Essex area. This will be a great opportunity to join a growing company with excellent career growth potential for any successful candidates.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial operations by developing pricing, estimation, and bid functions.
- Establish robust commercial systems and governance.
- Improve pricing consistency and increase bid throughput.
- Protect margin through disciplined scope control and risk management.
- Lead the end-to-end estimation and bid process, coordinating inputs from relevant business functions.
- Produce accurate and competitive commercial submissions that align with the client’s delivery capability and strategic objectives.
Experience & Who our client is looking for
- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator.
- Confident with data, systems, and structured commercial models.
- Comfortable at decision making and adhering to company standards.
- A calm, professional, and commercially grounded approach.
- Someone to build a long-term career and to mentor and support the development of commercial operations throughout the business as it scales up.
