We are a dynamic and innovative company specialising in the industrial sector, committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented EPlan Design Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing and developing electrical systems using EPlan software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using EPlan Pro Panel.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including BOMs, cable schedules, and terminal plans.
- Support the manufacturing team by providing technical guidance and resolving design-related queries.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience as an EPlan Engineer or CAD in a similar role.
- Proficiency in EPlan Pro Panel (other EPlan modules are a plus).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., IEC, UL, EN) and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role along with the ability to build effective relationships with all parties involved in the projects. Strong reporting and design documentation skills would also be advantageous. The role is based near Stowmarket and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.
