About the Role
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. This is a new business-focused role where you'll be responsible for generating your own opportunities, closing deals, and growing your own portfolio of customers. This is not just about winning business; you'll own your accounts from day one, managing relationships, driving upsell opportunities, and ensuring long-term retention.

Working Structure
- First 3 months: Fully office-based (Bolton)
- Ongoing: 2 days office-based, 3 days attending self-generated customer appointments
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities, targeting SME and mid-market organisations
- Secure new logo contracts through self-generated activity
- Manage and develop your own customer base post-sale
- Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing accounts
- Maintain strong client relationships to support renewals and retention
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline
- Ensure CRM is kept up-to-date with existing and ongoing opportunities
- Consistently work towards and exceed revenue targets
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in telecommunications sales
- A self-starter with the ability to generate your own opportunities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven and motivated by high earnings potential
- Ability to manage accounts and build long-term customer relationships
Earnings & Incentives
- £25,000 - £30,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- OTE £105,000 with strong performance, this is highly achievable
